Dashboard is hosted on Microsoft Azure and is entirely web-based. It has been created to monitor the health of schools using Xporter. As with all Groupcall’s products, security is of paramount importance and Dashboard communicates securely over HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure) – encrypted data transfer used on the Internet. Dashboard features a unique heartbeat function that monitors your schools’ data flow. Using an intuitive traffic light system, you will have the ability to easily spot where there are issues and drill down into individual schools so the problems can be investigated and resolved i.e. if data has not been delivered over the last 24 hours.
At a glance you will have the ability to:
• See the status of all Xporter installs within the authority.
• See all Xporter extracts running in each school (can be sorted by date range).
• See an overview of all Xporter actions.
You will also have the control to change extract schedules within the schools. This is particularly useful if you wish to run jobs ‘now’ or if you wanted to force a full data extract from the MIS, rather than just the changes - and of course, you are able to view all logs. You will have complete control of access rights for the school users, depending on their role and function. You may wish to limit access to individual or groups of schools.
Data can be refreshed at the push of a button and will show data updates from the last hour. There are a number of reports that can be extracted from Dashboard, including:
• LA wide overview of attendance for all pupils and LAC students.
• Sessional attendance for individual schools and individual pupil information.
