We are pleased to inform you that we will be holding an Emerge Event at the House of Lords, with the company and support of Lord Knight of Weymouth.
The lunch event will take place in the Cholmondeley Room and Terrace at the House of Lords on Thursday 15th March.
Starting at 12.30pm, we will give you an overview of Groupcall Emerge along with the future of Emerge with lots of exciting and new developments. Rush Croft Sports College will also share their Emerge experience with you, so it’s a great opportunity to find out how other schools are using Emerge and to speak to our technical team too, if you have any queries or questions.
The event will finish at 2.30pm and lunch will be included. So, if you would like to attend, simply complete the booking form to confirm your place. If you have booked already, we look forward to seeing you there.
A confirmation will be sent to you on receipt of your booking form and further information including directions on how to get there will be sent prior to the event.
Take a look at our new Messenger 4 eLearning videos!

Here you will find a number of quick 'how to' guides for Messenger including all the new features of Messenger 4.
Do you need some refresher training? Simply contact us on: 020 8502 7344 and we will arrange a remote training session for you, free of charge.

Please see below for a few quick reminders that you may find useful when using Messenger:
- SIMS schools now have the option to contact us and have their classes imported as Groups into Messenger.
- When sending a message remotely, remember to add the name of your school as this does not automatically appear.
- Messages can be sent in multiple languages. Click here for more information
- Remember that any text message containing over 160 characters will be sent as one message but will be charged as multiple units. Messenger 4 makes this easier for you to monitor. As soon as you go over 160 characters the text changes to red
- Did you know that you can buy blocks of 5,000 texts in advance at the reduced rate of just 4.5p each?
- Can't remember your log in details when wanting to send a message remotely? Don't forget to send us your security documentation so we can inform you of your log in user name and password. We are unable to give you these details without your completed security form (see below for a link to the security form).
We would also like to remind you, that unlike some other providers, we don't have access to schools level data.
We are reducing our text messaging costs. From 1st April all customers on our standard tariff will be charged the new lower rate of 5p per text. A reduction of 16.5%!
Parental Payment coming soon!
We have listened to your requirements and are happy to announce that we have teamed up with WisePay and will be able to bring Parental Payment with Messenger.
Emerge is now fully integrated with Messenger!
Emerge can provide teachers with the capability to communicate with parents directly from the palm of their hand. The rich interface allows text messages to be sent to any group or individuals. As a result, parents can be updated on, for example, any experienced delays when returning from an organised museum trip, a goal scored at a football match or of course a school emergency - all in 'real time'.
As with Messenger, using Emerge, messages can be sent to parents, staff, year groups, classes, subjects and special interest groups. Attendance can be taken for your colleague's lessons, houses, am/pm registration or any SIMS group from within the school, on a school trip or even on the playing field in a PE lesson or a geography field trip.
Having problems with taking remote registration while in a PE class?

Available on Apple iOS and Android Devices, Emerge is totally portable. Registration can be taken wherever you are and is perfect for school trips too. All information is at your fingertips, including contacts, attendance, timetables, behavioural and medical details. Using five security protocols, Emerge updates in real time - online and offline and is currently available for use with SIMS and Serco Facility. We are delighted that Pearson e1 has joined our Emerge family!
"We decided to choose Groupcall as we could use our existing devices rather than purchasing new equipment for our staff and the solution was just what we were looking for. The installation process was seamless with remote training given when required, although the product is so easy to use, we more or less self-taught our staff and didn't need very much training at all" Sidney Stringer Academy, Coventry
