SEEMiS Group Selects Groupcall to Provide Systems Integration in Scottish Schools

by Henry Kilshaw on May 24, 2019

Solution helps connect Scottish schools to best of breed educational software at the same time as increasing efficiency and supporting data-driven decision-making

Groupcall is delighted to have been chosen to work in partnership with SEEMiS Group LLP to provide data integration and data provisioning in schools across Scotland, further cementing the company’s leadership position in this area across the UK.

Groupcall’s proven integration tools will provide the link between the Click+Go management information system (MIS) and third-party software providers of education administration applications (such as parents' evening booking systems, behaviour and cashless catering solutions) to help improve educational outcomes for pupils.

As well as automatically synchronising data between a school’s MIS and a wide range of software applications – with no need for time consuming data downloads or uploads, Groupcall will facilitate synchronisation with Local Authority systems, so stakeholders can visualise an aggregated view of data across all their schools.

What’s more this new partnership will provide senior educational leaders with a wider choice of educational software to help meet the needs of each school and its pupils.

Groupcall Commercial Manager, Steve Baines, commented: “Bringing SEEMiS school data into Groupcall’s data integration platform enables school leaders to easily choose best-of-breed educational software solutions to deliver outstanding outcomes for their learners.”

Danny Gallacher, Chief Executive at SEEMiS Group LLP, added: “We’re excited by our partnership with Groupcall, which will both save schools time syncing their pupil data with third-party education administration solutions but also enable our local authorities to analyse aggregated data across their school estates to support leaders in making informed decisions.”
