Educate

An organisation called 'Educate' has been formed, and it may just be the answer to what might be called 'the research problem'. Out of the mouths of babes...

"Will you please put that phone away while we're eating!" A familiar plea from exasperated parents? No – from exasperated pupils, if a recent survey of secondary school pupils is to be believed. The research, involving 2000 teenagers, found that over 80% thought that mealtimes should be device-free, over a fifth felt that mobile phones got in the way of enjoying each other's company, and over a third has asked their parents to put their phones away while at the table.
